Training Overview

Training Overview

Training is mandated for all individuals involved in the transportation of hazardous materials according to Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations (49CFR), Part 172, Subpart H. JGA is dedicated to helping companies fulfill these training requirements by offering comprehensive training in ground, air, military airlift and vessel transportation regulations.

JGA training has a broad spectrum of courses designed to give hazmat employees the skills necessary to prepare, offer, accept, and transport hazardous materials in compliance with U.S. DOT, ICAO / IATA, IMO, and AFMAN 24-604 as well as other industry standards and best practices.

Our training classes take an intuitive approach reviewing and delivering required regulatory information processes unique to the hazmat industry. Many years of valuable student feedback and surveys have made our program effective and enjoyable.

We offer regularly scheduled instructor-led public webinars, self-paced online courses and customized instructor-led private training that can held at your site or via webinar.

All of our students receive technical support when they participate in a JGA certification program. Our participants leave our classes with a thorough understanding of the regulations. However, if they don’t practice it on a daily basis, they may need reassurance and additional direction when it comes time to prepare an actual shipment.  Or some students just would like a second pair of eyes to assure they are following the applicable regulations correctly. This is where our ongoing technical support comes into play. This unique association with our customers and students is how we set ourselves apart from other training organizations.
