Class Description

Dry Ice Training

U.S. Dept. of Transportation 49CFR & IATA Regulations

Price: $289.00 | Venue: Online | Type: Initial/Recurrent

Provides the training necessary to ship non-hazmat products, such as perishables, with Dry Ice.  As long as you are not shipping any other hazmat other than Dry Ice in your shipment, it is not a D.O.T. requirement to have 49CFR function specific training.  If you are shipping Dry Ice with another hazmat further training is needed.

This course provides familiarity with the requirements of U.S. Department of Transportation Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations (49CFR) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR)  and enables the employee/student to prepare dry ice shipments with no other hazardous materials other than dry ice. It is a systematic program that ensures a hazmat employee/student has familiarity with the regulations, and knows how to apply it to their job function.
